Today I’d like to take a breather from regular posts and give a quick revamp of what’s on offer here at BoDo. If you’ve been here before, welcome to Monday! If you are new, then welcome! BoDo hasn’t been live that long, but it’s loaded with excellent information. The first place to start is our archives, where you’ll find the real meat of BoDo.
Starting alphabetically, below is a quick introduction (or ‘re-introduction’ for some of you) to a smattering of the issues discussed on BoDo, as well as the authors hosting them.
Alina’s In-sights: Alina Hagen shares thoughts on working in the corporate environment.
Ask jay: Jeanette (jay) Wickham answers questions on business issues. Go ahead, Ask jay!
Bean’s Biz: Stefan Bean posts his insights into the development of a newish design firm.
Creative Coaching: Mark McGuinness (business coach for creative professionals) hasn’t made an appearance yet, but he will and his subject promises to be a treat. While we are waiting, go ahead and check out his Enneagram series at Successful Blog.
Creative Conversations: Dr. Tammy Lenski addresses the issue of building stronger work and client relationships.
Cube Two: Josh Jeffryes has gone the business route, then happily signed on to work in-house. His many experiences (past and present) are an insight into both sides of the coin.
Designers Working With Series: Catherine (cat) Morley interviews designers, writers, photographers, printers and prepress specialists on how they work with designers.
Dyer Straits: Tom Dyer writes on the insanity of the workplace.
Erin Reviews: Erin Harris has taken on the task of reviewing business of design books.
Marketing Minute: Neil (nt) Tortorella gives timely marketing advice on a bi-weekly basis.
Out of the Bedroom: Tamar Wallace opens her bedroom to BoDo. As Tamar is a new BoDo author, we’ll just have to wait and see what she comes up with!
The Sustainable Studio: Jess Sand will share insights and resources on designing sustainability. She’ll talk not only about designers and their work, but the clients and communities they depend on.
Write With ME: ME “Liz” Strauss (when she’s not busy) will jump in on the odd moment to give tips on business writing.
So that’s about it. Well, it’s not really, as you’ll discover yourself when going through our archives!
thanks for stopping by
(and have a good Monday),
The BoDo Team
