After having a quick look at the AceMoney pages, I can see that there is not a lot of difference between the two.
The main point is to keep it simple if you do not know (or want to know) a lot about accounting. Most people can get their heads around cash transactions and any program that helps record those transactions and categorise them, is all that is required.
The categorisation is important, coz your accountant wants to know why received the money you did, and what you spent it on.
