Are you well suited to be your own boss? How about someone else’s boss? Want to find out just how bossy you can be? Then try out Monkey on your back to see.
From the home page you can send a monkey, see all your monkeys, and manage your monkeys. How’s that?
“Monkey On Your Back is your to-do list for things that you want other people to do.”
It sounded good to me, so a few days before Jay was on her way from Australia, I sent over a want-list to see how it worked. Silence, so I sent one again. Again, silence. But then, even when Jay’s here there’s a lot of silence. It did work though. She skyped to let me know she’d received my monkeys, then arrived laden down.
Monkey on your back is by an Australian group, AlienCamel. Another AlienCamel project you may be interested in is their email service.
Until the next
Sunday Stressbuster,
cat

I really like the monkey they’ve got. Haven’t quite digested the idea of having some machine bug other people for me - but it still sounds pretty cool!
(And I wanted to try my new gravatar - let’s see if this works)

Welcome Chris! Using Monkey was really easy, and a hoot.
I can see using it for those times when you need to inject a bit of levity into a dull to-do list.
Avatars - we’ve been playing around with them and so far we’ve only been able to get the local ones to work.
Why every single element has to be made more difficult, I’ll never know.
What happened to the concept of plug and play?
It’s been plug, play, AWK! Play some more, AWK!
