Weekly Recap:
BoDo with a lot of firsts

What’d we do this week plus? Well, amongst other things, we launched (!)

After planning, designing, coding, writing, waiting, dealing with clients and life, writing some more, coding some more, well, here we are. We finally made it.

And since a blog needs to have a few posts before going live, we launched without you. How’s that for a first?

The weeks running up to the launch were spent in manic mode. Part elation that it was finally going to happen. Part fear that it was finally going to happen.

Late one night while typing back and forth, having been there done that many times, Liz Strauss (in empathy), sent over Steve Farber’s YouTube, too. What a hoot!

The next email followed with …

And what does everyone say when they get to the bottom of that hill?
Let’s do it again!!

Jay and I roared ourselves silly over the visuals (it’s been that kind of three weeks). Thanks Liz! We needed that.

Then several days after, in the middle of Liz’s late night, she sent over the url to HER secret project she was working on. The one that lot’s of people started blogging about on February 18th.

Are we ALL crazy? Or what?

My vote is for crazy. Why? Because even as I’m writing this (the week before the launch). I can already imagine the WHOOSH! of fast moving air scraping the soles of my feet as I leap off that cliff.

Yes, here we are. By the time you’re reading this, we’ll be standing on the bottom screaming “YEAH!! Let’s do it again!!”

First up is (logically) the launch
