Sweetie, I applaud you in your efforts. You write really well, and I'm thinking that I should counter your articles with my own "Out of the office, into the Bedroom" posts...but I'll not take away your thunder, lol! Best of luck, you have great friends and a wealth of info at your fingertips..I WILL see you soon, my friend.

Conor, you quoted one of my favorite John Lennon lines! And yeah, there's always more to do...but that's a good thing. If I ever get to the point where I'm just sitting around, twiddling my thumbs, well...let's just hope it never comes to that!

Goals, Guidelines, Objectives, To-Do Lists, Plans, Deadlines - what a great bunch of words eh?

Glad to see you got the artlice completed and some of your items marked off the list. It's the end of the week already, so it's almost time to start rewriting your list and see how next week looks!

Congratulations on the newfound concept from Goals to Guidelines. It reminds me of the saying "Life is what happens when we're busy making plans" :) I look forward to the next article!

Chris, the easy goals for me are the ones with deadlines set by others. When I try to set my own deadlines, it's harder. That's where changing the term to "guidelines" comes into play. If not else, it helps me stress less if I miss a deadline every now and again. Ah, the joys of self-employment! :-)

Frank, I am so sorry your post didn't show! I appreciate your taking the time to write, although I'm sad I won't get to read it. Maybe you can try again? :-)

Piers, it really is about making an effort - no matter how big or small - towards that ultimate goal. And believe me, I KNOW how much effort you put into it! It will pay off, my friend! Hopefully sooner, rather than later.

Joel, thanks! You rock, too! And I can't wait to see your site when it's finished. Please be sure to let me know!

Digi, I'm really glad you liked the article. And that it's helping. But, I can't take credit for changing "goals" to "guidelines." That is my dear friend's brain-child.

Hey Tamar,

Interesting insight into how it is easy for some goals to make it just fine and how others don't. You get done what you can and that's about all you can do.
